Metro North train service was suspended for about three hours last night after a car was clipped by a train as it went through a crossing by the Danbury station. Metro North officials say the incident involved a train leaving the Danbury station headed for South Norwalk shortly after 9:30pm. A car, which has not yet been located, went through the Taylor Street crossing while the gates were down. There was a handful of passengers on the train at the time, and there were no reported injuries. MTA officials say the crossing was not damaged during the incident.
